Mission:
The mission of the Ebenezer Middle School Media Center is to provide access to information and ideas for all users. It affords opportunities for faculty, students, and staff to appreciate literature and the cultural arts, to learn creative thinking skills, to become independent seekers of information and ideas, and to use instructional and educational technology effectively so they may become independent, life-long learners and decision makers.

Access: 
The media center operates on a flexible schedule. This allows access by students or small groups at the time of need or interest. It also provides opportunities for teachers to arrange to bring whole classes at various times. Students are encouraged to visit the media center during homeroom, when they have finished with their classwork, or during lunch. Students must have a pass to come to the media center. Additionally, ELA classes are scheduled to come to the media center to check out books on a two-week rotation.  

Check Out Policy: 
Students are encouraged to browse the collection and check out books for curriculum support purposes and for pleasure reading. They may check out 2 books for a 2 week period of time. They cannot check out reference books, magazines, or any type of equipment.
